Backyard Hives
Benefits of backyard beehives
Fully Managed
Our certified beekeepers will provide a complimentary inspection of your backyard for hosting suitability, and make any recommendations for enhancing a pollinator-friendly space. Then we will install and monitor hive productivity and safety for the remainder of the entire season.
Support Farmers
15% of your payment will go directly to support our partner leaders in sustainable farming. Your investment will make possible specific, key operations on their farm to support regenerative, organic farming as well as additional educational programming.
Boost Blooms
Once the hive is safely positioned, bees will begin to pollinate your garden’s fruits, vegetables and flowers, enhancing it’s growth and beauty. See up to a 50% increase in blooms and produce volume.
Be a Part of Research
By hosting a backyard beehive, you are contributing to critical agriculture research. We track your bees behavior and pollination progress to optimize biodiversity locally. We share our findings back with farmers and academia as part of our commitment to creating more sustainable agricultural.
Additional Perks
Proper permitting with the Town of Natick (with enthusiastic support from the Board at our recent Town Hall!). Other towns, depending.
If desired, we can provide complimentary review of pollinator-friendly plants and flowers tailored to your backyard’s unique conditions
